Highlights from the 2025 EMEA Regional Meetings

Business Group on Health brought together health and well-being leaders from across the EMEA region in a series of meetings to discuss regional trends impacting workforce and benefit strategies.

Key takeaways from the meeting include:

  • Technology and specifically AI have the potential to help employers in driving toward a simpler and more personalized health and benefits experience for their workforce. However, employers must be thoughtful and strategic when deploying technological platforms.
  • Rising chronic conditions and high treatment costs require employers to invest in promoting preventive care measures and traditional physical well-being programs.
  • For certain conditions and populations, stigma and uneven access to care remain barriers. Normalizing conversations and fostering trust are essential, especially around improving mental health and men’s health outcomes.
  • Employee mental well-being is directly impacted by caregiver stress, limited access to providers and culturally competent care, stigma, and anxiety/fear due to social unrest and feelings of job insecurity, as well as minimal support for neurodiverse individuals.
