Overcoming Health Disparities to Achieve Health Equity

Black women in the U.S. are two to three times more likely to die during or following childbirth than white women. And although Black women are about as likely to be diagnosed with breast cancer as their white counterparts, they’re almost 40% more likely to die from it. Why is this the case in 2020?
